Cybersecurity as routine, not as a sales pitch.

Security is part of responsible technology management. ZARS builds layered protection into how your identities, devices, email, network and data are run every day, as part of Managed IT or as a scoped security project.

01Layers

Six layers, each covering what the others miss

No single product stops every attack. Layers mean one failure does not become a business-wide incident.

  1. PeopleSecurity awareness training and phishing simulations, so staff recognise what to report.
  2. IdentityMFA everywhere, strong sign-in policies and prompt removal of access people no longer need.
  3. EmailFiltering and protection against phishing, impersonation and malicious attachments.
  4. DevicesEndpoint detection and response, patching and secure configuration on every managed computer.
  5. Network & webManaged firewalls and DNS/web filtering that block known-bad destinations.
  6. Data & recoveryProtected backups, so an incident is an inconvenience rather than the end of the business.
The business: what the layers exist to protect

02Approach

How ZARS approaches security

  • Calm, specific advice instead of fear-based selling
  • Controls applied consistently to every user and device
  • Configuration documented and reviewed over time
  • Security reporting leadership can understand
  • Risks explained in business terms, with the cost of acting and not acting

Security tools matter less than whether they are deployed everywhere, configured well and actually watched. That is an operational discipline, which is why security at ZARS sits inside how technology is managed rather than beside it.

05Questions

Cybersecurity questions

Is cybersecurity included in ZARS Managed IT?

Core security controls such as endpoint protection, MFA and identity security, email security and security configuration are part of how ZARS manages an environment. Advanced email security, advanced vulnerability management and compliance work may be scoped separately.

Can ZARS make us compliant with a regulation?

ZARS implements and manages technical controls that compliance programs rely on and can support your compliance work, but compliance also depends on your own policies, processes and any formal assessments. ZARS does not guarantee or certify compliance.

Where should a small business start with cybersecurity?

With the basics done consistently: MFA on every account, managed and patched devices, email protection, tested backups and trained staff. Our Cybersecurity Baseline resource lists the minimum controls in plain language.
